केन्द्र की मोदी सरकार अपने तीन साल के कार्यकाल को अपने विदेशी दौरों और चुनावी मोड में रहकर पूरा करने का जश्न मना रही है वहीं देश की विशाल आबादी खुद से ही यह सवाल करते हुए अपना अपने दुर्दिन को कोसते हुए पूछ रही है कि ‘‘आखिर क्यों हमने इस सरकार को चुनाव में वोट दिया था ?’’
विदित हो कि केन्द्र कि मोदी सरकार काॅरपोरेट घरानों के हितों को अपने कांधों पर उठाये पूरी दुनिया का चक्कर लगाने के बाद नोटबंदी के नाम पर साढ़े आठ लाख करोड़ रूपयों के अब तक कभी न सुनी जाने वाली भारी घपलों को अंजाम दिया वहीं नोटबंदी के नाम पर सैकड़ों निर्दोष आम लोगों को मौत के मूंह में धकेल दिया. एक ओर तो काॅरपोरेट घरानों के हितों में सारी दुनिया में देश को हास्यास्पद बना दिया गया है वहीं अपनी फर्जी विश्वसनीयता बनाये रखने के लिए काॅरपोरेट घरानों के ही तथाकथित मुख्यधारा की मीडिया को सैकड़ों करोड़ की विशाल धनराशि विज्ञापन के नाम पर देकर अपना गुणगान करवा रही है.घोटालों के नाम तक याद न रह पानेवाली लम्बी फेहरिस्त देशवासियों के हाथों में थमा दिया है. बलात्कारियों और हत्यारों को मंत्री-मुख्यमंत्री बना कर जनता के सिर पर थोपा जा रहा है.
आम आदमी की बुनियादी जरूरतों की वह हर चीज उसके पहुंच से बाहर कर दी जा रही है. शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, रोजगार, न्याय यहां तक कि चुनाव के दौरान वोट डालने के लिए प्रयोग की जाने वाली ईवीएम तक पर कब्जा करके लोकतंत्र तक को बाजार के हवाले कर दिया गया है. जेएनयू जैसी प्रतिष्ठित संस्था को बदनाम करने की पूरी तैयारी कर ली थी तो वहीं आरक्षण जैसी मूलभूत व्यवस्था को ही खत्म करने तक पर आमदा है. शिक्षण संस्थानों में दलित और अल्पसंख्यक छात्रों की हत्या या आत्महत्या के लिए मजबूर किया जा रहा है. गाय-गोबर के नाम पर दलितों-अल्पसंख्यकों को निशाना बनाया जा रहा है तो वहीं काॅरपोरेट घरानों और साम्राज्यवादी हितों के लिए आदिवासियों को जड़ समेत उखाड़ा जा रहा है, उन्हें नक्सलवादी-माओवादी कहकर गोली से उड़ाया जा रहा है. उनकी महिलाओं को बलात्कार और उत्पीड़न के नये शिकार के तौर पर देखा जा रहा है. देश भर में जगह-जगह साम्प्रदायिक दंगे, हत्या, बलात्कार की धमकी देकर आतंक का माहौल बनाया जा रहा है. हर साल दो करोड़ रोजगार देने के वायदे के स्थान पर रोजगार प्राप्त लोगों को भी छंटनी के नाम बेरोजगार किया जा रहा है. नये उद्योग-धंधे को लगाने के बजाय हजारों की संख्या में उद्योगों को बंद किया जा रहा है. सेना के नाम पर राजनीति करने वाली केन्द्र सरकार की नीतियों की इससे ज्यादा और क्या बिडंबना हो सकती है कि आये दिन सेना आतंकवादी हमलों की बलि चढ़ रही है, उनके शवों को क्षत-विक्षत कर अपमानित किया जा रहा है इतना ही नहीं सेना के अन्दर हो रहे भयानक सामंती शोषण और भ्रष्ट्राचार के खिलाफ बोलने वाले सैनिकों को ही अपमानित और उनकी बर्खास्तगी से लेकर हत्या तक की जा रही है, अनुशासन के नाम पर भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ बोलने वाले ईमानदार सैनिकों का गला घोंटा जा रहा है. विरोधी सत्ता प्रतिष्ठानों को अस्थिर करने की कवायद की जा रही है.
देश की इससे और ज्यादा बदतर हालत और क्या हो सकती है कि इन बुराईयों के खिलाफ अवाज उठाने वालों को देशद्रोही और गद्दार बता कर जेलों में बंद किया जा रहा है, आदिवासियों को उनके घरों से खदेड़ कर गोली मारी जा रही है, उनकी बहन-बेटी संग प्रताड़ना, बलात्कार और हत्या की जा रही है. सैनिकों को पागल या अनुशासनहीन बताकर बर्खास्त अथवा हत्या किया जा रहा है. किसान आत्महत्या कर रहे हैं. मजदूर बेरोजगार किये जा रहे हैं. छात्रों की शिक्षण संस्थानों से गायब किये जा रहे हैं.
ऐसे में ये सवाल सहज ही पूछे जाने चाहिए कि आखिर इन तीन सालों में किस बात की जश्न मनाई जा रही है ? क्या अंबानी-अदानी सरीखे धन्नासेठों के लाखों करोड़ के कर्ज माफी की जश्न या फिर छात्र नौजवानों को बड़े पैमाने पर शिक्षा से बंचित करने की कोशिश के रूप में जश्न मनाया जाना चाहिए ?
सवाल बहुत सारे हैं पर जबाव में केवल पुलिस के डंडे और देशद्रोही का तगमा पहनाकर जेल भेजे जाने की कवायद ही है.
